About Ken

 Ken Belote is the founder of KB Percussion Adventures.  Ken is a classically trained percussionist who loves all types of percussion instruments.  Ken is a Certified Drum Circle Instructor through the Village Music Circle global organization.  He has also trained with John Yost of Rhythm Revolution, Andrew Ecker of Drumming Sounds, Jim Donovan of Jim Donovan Sound Health and Summer Lall of Rhythm2Recovery.  Ken also recently completed a 2-day Master Class with Arthur Hull and Jim Boneau

In addition to facilitating drum circles, Ken is a certified music teacher and he recently retired after 34 years as the band director at Kenmore West High School.  Previous to Kenmore West, he taught for one year in the Naples, NY Central School District.

At Kenmore West, in addition to conducting the bands, he directed the Percussion Ensemble and the Drum Circle Club.  Ken's bands have received numerous 1st place awards and "Superior With Distinction" ratings at annual music festivals.  

Ken also enjoys playing drums in the WNY band "5s Are Wild".

Ken and his wife, Grace, enjoy having coffee on the couch every morning.  Grace and Ken enjoy discovering new experiences that promote wellness.
